The Triangle Explained - Dec 18, 2017

The human being is a multi-dimensional, multi-faceted organism.  It has come to the forefront of healthcare that the human being must be treated on all levels to facilitate a state of homeostasis and health.  A human being is composed of a Physical Body, an Ethereal Spirit, and a Mind that exists on the fine line between the Spiritual and Physical realms.

In SHINE's version of the Wholistic Triangle, the symbol of yin and yang has been underlayed to represent the seemingly opposed, creative polar energies of existence.  The yin and yang symbolize the Physical / Material realm and the Spiritual / Ethereal realm.  The seed of the Ethereal realm that lies within the Physical is Death.  This is the end of the Physical Body and the path of the soul back to the Spiritual realm.  The seed of the Physical realm lying within the Spiritual is Conception.  This is the moment that a fetal body is infused with spirit, and the path of the spiritual realm into the physical.

The triangle itself is composed of three corners: Spirit, Body, and Mind.  The three sides of the triangle support each other and create the most structurally sound shape in the universe.  Buckminster Fuller recognized this as an architect and engineer, and called the triangle "the only structure" accounting "for all structural shaping in the Universe."  This triangular structure is a Holy Trinity reflected in each and every human being.  Christians speak of the Father (God / Spirit), the Son (physical embodiment of God), and the Holy Spirit (preceding the Father and bridging the Father to the individual).  Faith and belief aside, it is at the very least a story or a myth, and very telling of our whole nature as human beings.

Also, the connective sides of the three corners are significant.  From Spirit to Body, there is a transition from the Spiritual to Ethereal realm.  On that dividing line of the yin and yang, sits the Chakras.  Chakras are wheel-like vortices throughout the Body.  They are spirals, and like spirals, come from the depths of infinity to spiral outwards from seemingly nowhere to everywhere.  These power centers within the human body are the areas of Physical manifestation of the Spiritual realm.  Therefore, the Chakras of the human Body connect the Spiritual and Physical realms.

From Body to Mind, Neural Pathways connects the two corners.  Neural Pathways extend from our brain outwards into the Physical Body.  The Mind is positioned on that fine line between the yin and yang / Spirit and Material because it fits into both realms.  The Mind will be located by many individuals to be in the brain, but the brain is an organ of the body.  Parts of the brain can be removed, and the Mind is still present.  So, it is these Neural Pathways that connect the Mind and Body communicating through electrical impulses from the Ethereal thoughts of the Mind to the Body, and sensual stimuli of the Body to the Mind.

The Collective Unconscious is the last connecting piece between the Mind and Spirit.  The Collective Unconsciousness, coined by Carl G. Jung, is a part of the Unconscious Mind, shared by all humanty, that is the product of ancestral experience and contains all knowledge accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime.  So, the Collective Unconscious resides in the Ethereal Realm, but is still connected and associated to the Mind.
